Photographer Josie Vimahi

Centerline Photo was founded in late 2010 when I wandered into a minor league hockey game, fell in love with the sport, and made the decision right there and then that this was what I would do for the rest of my life. Two months later I wandered back into that same building to ask their Vice President for permission to photograph their game that night. He agreed.

That hockey game was only the beginning. Over the next decade, I  branched out to nearly all Winter Olympic sports at the professional level, photographed horse racing during the warmer months, was house photographer to Utah's renowned indoor venue the Maverick Center, and photographed for numerous musical acts, artists, and events covering everything from major music tours to bull riding to WWE to monster trucks. As for that original team? Well, I served as a team and league photographer for the Utah Grizzlies and the ECHL for seven years before relocating to New York State for a four year hiatus.

Though I photograph almost exclusively for world class athletes and artists, I've also contributed to several publications including: ESPN, E! Online, The Hockey News, SportsTravel, Fox Sports, TRACK, Speedhorse, The Racing Journal, many newspapers and numerous websites.

I love what I do, and I have immense appreciation for the athletes and artists I'm privileged to work with. I'd love to work with you. Please contact me via email for more information.
